CHARLESTON ROOTS · SOUTHEAST PROJECTS
Websites built around your business
A clear, mobile-friendly website that helps customers understand your work and take the next step. Charleston-rooted, with remote projects welcome across the Southeast.
Is this for your business?
Independent service businesses that need a first site, a better homepage, or a focused refresh of an existing site.
What goes into your website
Together, we choose the pages your customers need and how they’ll get in touch. Your quote explains the work, what you’ll provide, the changes included and the costs. At handover, you know how to access your site. Ongoing care is optional.
How we can help
A site built around one useful next step
We map how visitors choose your service and whether they should call, send an inquiry, or use your existing booking tool. A one-page site can be enough; a larger site needs a clear reason for each page.
A defined build and handoff
The proposal names pages, content responsibilities, review rounds, forms, platform, launch checks and account ownership. Domain, hosting and licensed assets are identified separately.
A practical starting point for search
Readable service information, descriptive titles, working links and a checked canonical sitemap help establish the foundation. Search Console setup is named in the scope when included.
What’s included — and what’s separate
Online stores, member areas, migrations, custom integrations and ongoing editing are separately scoped. A concept demo is not a launched customer site.
Common questions
Can you build a website for my Charleston-area business?
Yes. PleasantWorks builds websites for independent service businesses, with Charleston as our starting point and suitable remote projects welcome across the Southeast. This is a scoped design-and-build service, not a do-it-yourself website-builder subscription. We start with what your customers need to know and whether they should call, send an inquiry or use your existing booking tool. The proposal defines the pages, systems and responsibilities before work begins.
Do I need a one-page website or a larger site?
A one-page website can be enough for one clear offer, a concise explanation of your business and a simple call or inquiry route. A larger site makes sense when customers need separate service details, location information or answers to different buying questions. We recommend a page only when it has a useful job; the quote also accounts for content, revisions, forms and integrations.
Can you improve the site I already own?
Yes, after reviewing its platform, access and condition. We will explain whether a targeted refresh or a rebuild is the sensible next step.
